CCS Can Help

With over 60 years of experience, we are committed to providing the best quality service for every birth mother. Our services are always free and confidential. We are here to help answer any questions and explore your options. Here’s how CCS can assist:

Emotional Support

Navigating the emotions in adoption can be overwhelming. CCS provides professional counseling services to help you process feelings, explore options, and make informed decisions. Our caseworkers have a deep knowledge of local resources and Colorado state requirements.

Education and Information

CCS ensures you have all the information to make an informed decision. We will explain the adoption process. One of our experienced caseworkers will begin counseling with you at a time and place that works for you. Your caseworker is there to listen and to talk you through your options. You will find comfort and acceptance from the very beginning.

Matching with Adoptive Families

Choosing the adoptive parents, you feel would be best is an important part of an adoption plan. We will listen to what you seek in an adoptive family and then share all the profiles that best match you. Every family profile shown has undergone intensive screening, background checks, and training.

Creating an adoption plan

Birth mothers have more options now than ever before in creating an adoption plan. If you choose to put your child up for adoption, your caseworker will discuss what level of contact you would like to have with your child moving forward.

There are three types of adoption plans with varying levels of openness and contact:

Open adoption

Semi-open adoption

Closed adoption

Post-Adoption Support

After placement, you’ll likely feel a wide range of emotions. You’re not alone. We will continue to meet with you for as long as you want to ensure you get the support and help you need. We also offer a monthly support group with other women who have walked a similar path.
