QUESTIONS ABOUT ADOPTION? WE CAN HELP.
Choosing Adoption

Is choosing adoption selfish?

Recently, we were asked, “I’m considering giving my baby up for adoption in Colorado, but I worry I’m being selfish. How can I do what’s best for me and my child?”

It’s important to know that choosing to place your child with a caring, stable family when you don’t feel able to care for a baby is one of the most loving decisions you can make.

Maybe you’re in a hard place in your life right now and not able to parent. Maybe you want to give this child the world, but you’re just not ready. It’s okay for you to consider your own needs, as well as those of your unborn child.

Offering your child the best chance to grow and thrive is incredibly unselfish. We will help you create an adoption plan you are comfortable with, and you get to choose the waiting family that’s right for you and your child.

When you choose adoption, you aren’t giving your baby up.

  • You’re choosing to put the needs of your child first.
  • You’re choosing life because you didn’t choose birth termination.
  • You’re choosing to let a difficult time in your life become a gift to your child and a waiting family.
  • You’re choosing to move forward on your journey, and we are here to help.
